Eggs benedict is my FAVOURITE and while most restaurants offer 1, maybe two options for eggs benny, Tooloulou’s lists a “Benny Bar” of 10 poached egg items! Needless to say, I was excited. After much deliberation I went with the Sizzling Rivalry ($15) layered with crabmeat, spicy shrimp, poached egg and hollandaise on the side. Though the food was great, service was not the best – though it was high tourist season & packed! We did help ourselves to the hot sauce bar – and actually found a Blair’s “Death” product – (use sparingly at your own risk!) as I am also a fan of “Blair’s Death Rain Habanero Chips” (pro tip: don’t touch your eyes while consuming these/use them to prank your co-workers)…Overall there were a tonne of great classic and southern inspired breakfast menu items (grits, shrimp & andouille) and a great way to start your day in Banff.
