Edelweiss – A reference to The Sound of Music perhaps?  German schnitzel, sausage & cabbage rolls oh my! This is a quaint café/gift shop/lunch spot that is packed on Saturdays for brunch. The dessert display was tempting, so we opted for a classic German dessert: Black Forest Cake. The cherry filling was delicious, but unfortunately the rest of the cake was a bit dry. It may have just been an off day – based on my blog, I am really in no position to judge based on my own baking ability. It’s a great place to visit on a lazy afternoon or a unique place to buy gifts.
