The highlight at Guilin are the noodles that are rumoured to be made in-house. I enjoyed my order (A1 – Noodle Soup with Seafood & Curry) that was recommended by the server. Although it sounds adventurous, the mussels, crunchy peanuts, and fermented veggies were a great combination in a mildly spiced broth served over fresh noodles. A hidden and affordable option – most dishes are well under $15 or closer to $10. Note this location is not visible from Centre Street but is located in the Asian mall (whose entrance is a couple shop fronts down from the TD).
